October 20, 2009Latitude Technologies of Victoria British Columbia announces today the SEG100 SkyNode Email Gateway providing WiFi aeronautical email access for crew and passengers. The SEG100 is designed for use with the industry proven, cost effective SkyNode S200 Satcom voice/data systems. 
Wireless cabin email access is provided to users of laptop computers or any WiFi capable device, including the iPhone and BlackBerry, in the smallest, lightest, most cost effective platform available anywhere. Connected via RS-232 to the SkyNode S200, the SEG100 router handles email through the globally available Iridium network. Weighing less than a pound the SEG100 automatically provides WiFi enabled mobile-office-in-the-sky services. Just turn on your mobile device and get productive!
