Advanced Air Tanker Information System (ATIS)
The IONode 100 collects an array of data related to drop events and routes them to our Air Tanker Information System (ATIS) to provide real time key performance metrics. This allows incident commanders the ability to effectively target appropriate resources while allowing aircraft operators the opportunity to highlight their capabilities and cost effectiveness.
The Latitude Advanced Air Tanker information system is the world’s first autonomous data network hub designed specifically for Bambi Buckets, belly tanks and type I, II and III airtankers. The IONode 100 collects a variety of airframe and Bambi/tank systems data then wraps and sends this data via an Iridium based communication transmitter to the Web Sentinel 3.0 drop track tool kit for event reporting.
